In many parts of Asia the desire for education is greater than the available opportunities, and in some areas that is especially true for girls. INCOR has helped with building or supporting a variety of Christian school projects in India, Nepal, Philippines, and N. Thailand, and boarding facilities so that remote tribal people can send their children to a safe environment to attend government schools. Three photos below show a church in Nagaland, India, which conducts elementary education for just over 100 children, and construction on a new facility to expand the work. The INCOR Board member was the first foreigner to ever visit either the church or the school. The second two photos show a poorer church, also in Nagaland, and a school which has been closed for lack of funds to operate. Many such circumstances require a very small budget for continuous operation but the local populous is simply unable to provide any help while still feeding their own families.
